Search "best plumber near me" and you'll mostly find paid placements, thin listicles and directories where the top spot goes to whoever paid the most. None of it tells you who is actually licensed, well-reviewed and right for your specific job.
VettedBest is different by design. We start with public, verifiable data — state contractor-license records, review profiles across Google, Yelp and the BBB, and years in business — and turn it into a clear, editorial ranking. Companies can't buy their way up. Our methodology is public, and every "best for" recommendation is meant to point you to the right pro for the work in front of you.
We cover the home-service categories that cost homeowners the most — roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and solar — across San Diego, Los Angeles and Phoenix, with more metros rolling out.

VettedBest is free to use. When you request quotes through us, we may earn a referral fee from the pro you connect with — a fee that's identical regardless of ranking, so it never influences the order. That's the whole model: get matched with vetted pros, no cost, no bias.
